Beaconsfield was granted a Royal Charter in the year 1269, permitting a yearly livestock market that is still celebrated to this day as a town fair. At the 1269 restaurant, bar and grill we celebrate it every day.
The key ingredient of our signature style is the affirmation of our much heralded Josper Grill. An enclosed charcoal fire grill that fuses functionality of oven and grill, allowing us to cook our dishes with a unique smoked quality without compromising the texture of the ingredients.

In keeping with our ‘quality not quantity’ mentality, our concise menu showcases the best of national, seasonal produce. From prime cut, Josper grilled steak, to garlic butter poached whole native lobster, we marinade, brine, grill and roast each of our ingredients to best retain and accelerate their original character.
